Why PreWire?

Same AI tools. Different outcome when decisions and context are missing.

Without PreWire

You code with AI before stack, auth, or data model are set. Rework shows up when those gaps surface.

Result: 40% wasted tokens & refactoring spirals

With PreWire

Set stack and architecture first. PreWire guides each decision before you generate code.

Outcome: Strict scaffolding blueprint before code generation

Without PreWire

Thin prompts make your agent guess libs, routes, and structure you did not approve and will rewrite.

Result: Architectural drift & orphaned dependencies

With PreWire

PreWire builds organized context for your agent so execution stays high-confidence, not improvised.

Outcome: High-confidence code execution on prompt 01

Without PreWire

Plans stay in chat history. New sessions or tools mean losing context and starting over again.

Result: Context loss across chat threads & team silos

With PreWire

Finish the wizard and export specs plus AGENTS.md. One repo truth from the first prompt on.

Outcome: Durable repo-level memory for every coding agent

Seamless agent runtime Zero context drift Native anchors

Use the coding agent you already trust

PreWire adapts each export to your preferred agent: the instruction file it reads at the repo root and paths shaped for how that tool discovers context.

What are the PRD files?

A PRD clearly defines the features, requirements, and goals of the product you are building. PreWire lets you create this document in an AI-Optimized Architecture.

Start with PREWIRE.md, then use PRD, STACK, DESIGN, GROWTH, SECURITY, and the rest of the pack at the repo root together with AGENTS.md. What to build, how it should look, how it should grow, and how to stay safe.

Plan. Export. Build!

A short guide

  1. 01

    Create a PreWire Project

Create a new project and work through Wizard Mode: guided sections for stack, auth, data, design, and more. No field is required, but the more you complete, the more your AI knows what to do at scaffolding time, and the fewer hallucinations you get. Your progress saves automatically: pick up where you left off anytime.

  2. 02

    Export the PRD Files

Optional: bootstrap with Stack Mode first, then export the PRD pack. Place the markdown files at your repo root. Copy the first prompt from PREWIRE.md into chat for greenfield kickoff. Cursor, Copilot, Claude, and Codex use AGENTS.md and the pack as permanent instructions.

  3. 03

    Scaffold with Your Trusted AI

Ask your AI Agent to read the exports and build the app step by step, following the PRD instructions in detail. Optional: add Skills Mode packs under .agents/ for tone and workflow. The PreWire export files stay in your repo as source of truth for you, your team, and your AI.

What are the PreWire modes?

After months of research, we found that the best way to get the most out of your AI Agent. Stack, Blueprint, PRD, and Skills. will cover all the needs of a proper scaffold.
